Albuquerque Landscape Architecture
Albuquerque is known for it's high heat levels & dry, desert climate. This causes an ecosystem where the vegetation must survive with little to no waterfall throughout the year. Xeriscape is a vastly popular landscaping method because it requires very little water to maintain. A common choice is rock with succulents all around the garden and turf to be placed as a yard. Large cacti can be seen throughout the neighborhood. No matter the size of the home, you'll tend to see large cactus. These cactus can soak up rain and store them inside it's body for months on end. The turf is a obvious choice to have in replacement for your grass. Not only does it save you on the water bill, but time and gas used for mowing a traditional lawn.
